'Sclopetum' is just a general term for firearms or [non-cannon-type] guns, not 'rifle' specifically (for which Traupmann has sclopetum striatum). I would change the German translation but I don't know the correct term. —Mucius Tever 12:58, 20 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)

As well as whom? As for sclopus in that meaning, it has been mentioned in the etymology, though by whatever accident it doesn't have an entry yet (whether a word is common or not seems to have very little to do with whether we have an entry on it). —Mucius Tever 16:59, 15 Septembris 2007 (UTC)
