Your temporary access has expired

Hello, the temporary access you requested on this wiki has expired. Just to let you know that If you want it back, feel free to make a local announcement and open a new request on stewards' permission request page on Meta-Wiki later. Moreover, if you think the community is big enough to elect a permanent administrator, you can place a local request here for a permanent adminship, so stewards can grant you the permanent access. Please ask me or any other steward if you have any questions. Thank you! --Stryn (disputatio) 06:02, 2 Aprilis 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Possibly done semi-automatically on Sunday. On Monday, your term was extended for one year, expiring 2018-04-03. StevenJ81 (disputatio) 14:32, 3 Aprilis 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"No significant opposition" sounds like "who really cares?". Maybe I should start an advertising campaign for acquiring new contributors to Victionarium on a more regular base. Let's raise a significant amount of opposition! ;-)
StevenJ81, thanks a lot for getting involved. I appreciate your support very much. So let's wake and see what can be done to Victionarium during another period of one year sysopdom. --YaganZ (disputatio) 19:49, 3 Aprilis 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't been around much, but I've been keeping an eye from time to time, and I think you're doing a good job. Keep up the good work. StevenJ81 (disputatio) 19:51, 3 Aprilis 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That said, I'll make two comments on what you said:
  • By all means, recruit more contributors, recruit an opposition! I think the problem is that the coverage of Latin in English Wiktionary is better than the coverage of Latin in Latin Wiktionary right now—and it may well be more useful to more people. But try putting an ad in the Taberna at Vicipaedia and see if you can drum up interest. (You can write there in English or Latin.)
  • "No significant opposition" is frankly how most small-wiki elections happen. Until your "community" is really a community, pretty much all the stewards care about is that your sysopship is handled in a way that keeps the community placid. I'm a sysop on three wikis right now, and the first of them, Ladino Wikipedia, has pretty much worked that way.
Anyway, continued good luck! StevenJ81 (disputatio) 19:58, 3 Aprilis 2017 (UTC)[reply]
