Hi to all, i'm working at the Latin project of wikipedia, and found out some words missing in the Latin wiktionaria:

Mind you, some of these are in the plural, and in all cases due to a silly decision made on en.wiktionary a long time ago pages with Capital letters are, unlike on Wikipedia, different pages from pages with lower-case letters (e.g. carnivorus is a different page than Carnivorus). So you want carnivorus, omnivorus, herbivorus, insectivorus, herpetologia, ornithologia, ichthyologia, etc.. —Mucius Tever 03:07, 26 Novembris 2007 (UTC)Reply
Words like Carnivora as "proper nouns" and in the plural are taxon names in taxonomy, thus they may be independent articles focusing on taxonomy. --PeeKoo 23:13, 26 Novembris 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, you're right about the plurals. Not so sure about them being properly proper nouns though; Carnivora isn't really any more proper than lupus (Linnaeus capitalized both just for being nouns, though we don't capitalize specific epithets anymore for some reason, even when they are proper nouns). —Mucius Tever 03:26, 27 Novembris 2007 (UTC)Reply
