Dear Sirs, I would like to call to your attention the IPA transcription of the word Wiktionarium. I suspect that it may contain a wrong symbol: / tʃ /, representing the voiceless palatal affricate, which did not exist in classical Latin. Therefore I believe that the transcription ought to be [Wiktjō:nārium] instead of [Wiktʃō:nārium]. Best regards, Giancarlo Gagliardelli

Thank you for your message. Yes, I agree to you, this IPA transcription is not adequate. I think, the original creator of this logo used the so-called "English Latin pronunciation".
