Should this (and other clicky languages like !Kwi) be spelt with an exclamation mark or latin letter retroflex click? The click is an actual letter, while ! is punctuation. On the other hand, the exclamation mark is thet commonly used spelling in English.

When it comes to Unicode, pickiness is a virtue. :-) --Vladisdead 09:21 nov 7, 2004 (UTC)

Given ǃ alone, it might be dubious, but given that the set includes ǀ, ǁ, ǂ, and ʘ as well, which don't all have convenient ASCII counterparts ... if a user of the language uses one, they will likely be using all of them... For the benefit of users without full a12n, we can continue putting in redirects though. —Myces Tiberinus 15:15 nov 7, 2004 (UTC)
