Disputatio:-ess

Really, I think now that -tress is a separate ending. It is clearly in form influenced by -ess but the etymon is often French -trice, from Latin -trix. But I can't be bothered to separate them atm. —Myces Tiberinus 17:05, 31 Martii 2006 (UTC)
