Should this be ordered by kanji, or by hiragana? I would go with hiragana, but that then poses the question of how to deal with kanji with multiple readings. Should they be listed twice? --Vladisdead 08:20 sep 23, 2004 (UTC)

Since this is a Japanese index and not specifically a kanji index, I'd suggest hiragana by the most common kun reading. But this does seem to be a difficult question, and there may be another way to do it. —Myces Tiberinus 14:47 sep 23, 2004 (UTC)
